Dear Friends, Property Investors and Enthusiasts,
As winter wraps us into her cold embrace our construction teams step up their pace! A whopping 1,314,000 bricks and 15,110 bags of cement have been converted into buildings on our various developments during the past month! Most of our bricks came from our Janho Brick Company – a very valuable asset. As predicted in last month’s newsletter the Reserve Bank kept the repo rate unchanged with the current uncertain economic climate cited as the main reason for their decision.
However, despite this current uncertain economic climate, we find there is still a strong demand for quality housing at an affordable price and I believe that all our current projects go a long way towards satisfying the demand.
We will be releasing a large number of residential rental units onto the market as projects are completed within the coming months. On the 1st of August the 151 units at our Kingswood development in Randpark Ridge will be ready for occupation. A month later both the Brentwood development in Cosmo City as well as the Chafford development in Berario will add another 192 rental homes to the market and as we draw near to our annual shutdown on the 1st of December the 94 residential units within our Moorgate development in Randpark Ridge will be ready for occupation.
