At the end of last month we handed over both our Sheffield and Kenley residential developments to their respective new owners. Not only was Kenley completed on the projected date but Sheffield was ready for occupation a full month before the initial occupation date. Well done to all teams on this stunning accomplishment!

Our Walton project in Ferndale is also very close to completion and will be completed within the next week or two, just in time for the units to be handed over to their new owners at the end of this month.

Both our Kenton and Hampton projects in Bergbron are also on schedule. The Hampton apartments will be let to tenants on completion and our show units at the Kenton development will also be completed during the next two weeks. Here we still have a number of three, two and one bed homes available with the projected completion date set as the 1 July. I expect that construction on both our Finsbury and Crofton Park sites will commence shortly. We are experiencing delays on both these sites due to unforeseen circumstances but I believe it is only a matter of time before these problems are resolved. The first tenants have taken occupation of their brand new homes within our Preston security complex in Cosmo City, Roodepoort. As soon as the 60 home development was completed there was a surge in enquiries, viewings and applications received by prospective clients. All relevant contractors are currently working seven days a week to have our Eagle Canyon Office Park completed within the required time. Unfortunately this will temporarily inconvenience the neighbours but I believe that it is better to move off site on the projected date than to spend an extra month or two to complete the last work.

After months of negotiations and some fancy footwork I am pleased to announce that the entire estate was purchased by a single entity! I should be in a position to formally introduce the new owners of this prestigious development in next month's newsletter.

We are in the process of finalising plans and Council approvals on a number of residential and commercial projects in Johannesburg, Potchefstroom and Tshwane. Our Kilburn Park development in Wilgeheuwel, Roodepoort experienced a few delays but will now be launched early in May. The 70 home residential complex will offer a number of three, two and one bedroom apartments that will be priced from an amazingly low R540 000.00!
