Dear Friends, Property Investors and Enthusiasts,
June was certainly a busy month! We completed and handed over a number of projects and to keep up with our current momentum we have already moved onto a number of new sites.
In our June newsletter I spoke about the dire straits in which Aveng Pty Ltd found itself. Since then yet another JSE listed construction company has gone into liquidation. The demise of Basil Read does not make for pleasant reading. Also one of the largest construction companies in the country a mere decade ago, their share price was a measly 4c when trading was suspended last month delivering the death knell to an iconic 68 year old company.

We have broken ground on numerous residential sites across Gauteng with more information on these to be released in my future newsletters.
Construction on our Sardinha Park site in Wilgeheuwel is well ahead of schedule resulting in the occupation date being brought forward by a calendar month to the 1st of September 2018. Sales have increased exponentially since the prices of the apartments were slashed. We hope to have all 163 units occupied by the end of this year.

The construction to our Eagle Canyon Office Park is well under way with all the basement pillars already cast. The formwork for our ground floor is now being placed with the first floor concrete pour scheduled for mid-July. Clients have already secured 62% of the office space and a great deal of interest is being shown for the remainder of the available space. Due to a few unfortunate delays the occupation date has had to be revised to the 1 June 2019.
