Dear Friends, Property Investors and Enthusiasts,
As South Africans we are bombarded on a daily basis with information on how certain individuals operated above the rule of law and pilfered billions of Rands from State Owned Entities. One can only wonder when they will be brought to book. It is definitely time that people are shown that no one should be allowed to operate above the law.
During last month both the State of the Nation address delivered by President Ramaphosa and Tito Mboweni's first National Budget Speech were heard. Both were fairly well received and it was especially pleasing to see a well organised and behaved parliament during the SONA compared to the chaotic events seen in previous years. However, it is evident that both gentlemen have their work cut out for them as they attempt to find a balance between stimulating the struggling economy whilst keeping their potential voters happy before the upcoming elections.
