Dear Friends, Property Investors and Enthusiasts,
As we enter the first month of Spring the economic woes of the country show no signs of subsiding. The Rand has taken a beating against the Dollar which, although we have a reprieve this month, will no doubt cause the fuel price to increase again next month to make up for the reprieve, taking it to a further record high price. The construction industry, particularly the listed companies, is still taking strain with no hope of improvement in the foreseeable future.
September is also Abor month. Due to the nature of the construction process we regularly have to remove trees from new building sites to make space for the planned new development. At all our developments we always replace as many trees as possible with indigenous species where possible. Unfortunately these take time to settle and grow to full size. During this month we will be planting a number of trees, not only at our current new developments but also at all the properties within our portfolio.
