Following the elections we have seen a slow but definite increase in business confidence at ground level. The repro rate was left unchanged at 7% and the growth rate forecast has increased from 0% to 0.3%. This bodes well for a growing economy. If one looks further away across the waters, you will see that several First World Countries project negative growth statistics, topped with political unrest far worse than that of South Africa. With the RENICO signboards standing guard and the earthworks and construction in progress at the site of the new CURRO School in Wilgeheuwel, overall public interest in our Park Royal development, just down the road from the school site, continues and sales are still growing. Well over a 100 units have been sold to date. The occupation date for Park Royal is set for 1 December 2016, leaving just 8 weeks remaining before the first owners will move into their new homes!
There are only 3 units left in Hadley Wood, situated in Fairland, where we constructed 10 up-market sectional title duplex units with staff rooms and private gardens. The development is completed and the first owners have taken occupation awaiting registration. Our Brandi Ann cluster development in Ruimsig is selling equally well, with only 6 units of the 13 still available for purchase. Phase 1 will be completed and ready for occupation by 1 November 2016, with Phase 2 flagged for handover in the New Year!
RENICO has returned to the charming town of Parys to commence with the construction of another 3 full title free standing homes at the Parys Golf and Country Estate. The Estate is situated on the banks of the Vaal River and has proved a popular getaway destination with much to offer in terms of entertainment (golf course/clubhouse/boat launch/water sports/fishing/cycling/walking trails) along with the peace and tranquillity of country living.
