August has been an exciting month with Local Elections and the Olympic Games taking place in the same month! We are extremely proud of the 10 Medals the South African athletes brought home – with all hail to our top achievers Wade van Niekerk and Caster Semenya bringing home the Gold!We’re a sporting nation and when we see our sportsmen and women achieving success it always seems to spark positivity in the air, which helps to bring South Africans closer together!

The few remaining units in our Ponders End development in Helderkruin have now been sold, and we expect the last of the transfers to take place during September 2016.
With Renico Earthworks & Civils being appointed to clear the site and to also attend to the Earthworks of the new Wilgeheuwel Curro Private School (which is just up the road from our Park Royal development currently under construction), we have definitely seen a great increase in residential sales. Last weekend alone 15 new home buyers signed sales agreements and took the first step towards owning their own home. We are on schedule to hand over this site for occupation on 1 December 2016. You could also be in your own home by the December holidays this year if you buy now!
All our rental developments are also making good progress. We have seen a large number of rental units being secured in our Lucca development (with 89 units) in Potchefstroom. The 2 Bed/2 Bath units there are being let from R5 950 per month. At our Crystal Park development, which will be ready for occupation in mid 2017, the 2 Bed simplex homes will be let from R4 750 per month! The re-development of the Georgian Centre in Lindhaven is also well underway and the 1 Bedroom units will be released onto the rental market from R3 500 per month. The first occupants will be able to take up residence there on 1 October 2016.
