EMAIL NEWSLETTER - AUTUMN 2014
With the winter chill of autumn greeting us every morning and as the daylight hours become shorter, the Highveld enters its dry season. This is a less frustrating time for us, as without the interruption of rain we become more productive on our various sites. As I write this the elections on 7th May loom ahead - by the time this reaches our many readers, the results will be known and we will have some idea of the direction in which the newly elected politicians will move.

However, the fact of the matter is that during the next 2 to 3 months government administrative processes will slow down considerably as new people move into their positions in the National and Provincial Councils. We all hope that whoever gets elected will accept the challenge of restoring and upgrading the infrastructure that is so vital to keep the economy growing. The deteriorating road infrastructure in the urban areas, coupled with a lack of power capacity is making Jo'Burg seem like anything but a World Class African City, and that perspective - and fact - must be changed quickly. This can only be rectified if more emphasis and action are placed on investing and repairing effectively instead of wasting time and money on less urgent matters!
STONERIDGE & PICCADILLY
Construction is now well underway on the Stonebridge site and will be entering the finishing phase shortly. Unfortunately, due to the incessant rains experienced for three weeks of March, which made building in the early stages virtually impossible, we have had to extend our anticipated completion date beyond the 1st of August. The new occupation date will be announced shortly.

We are now launching Piccadilly in Randpark Ridge Ext 139 and the brickwork team is moving onto site now. This site is set along John Vorster Avenue, almost opposite Randridge Mall, and is accessed from Loerie Street off Dale Lace Avenue. The development is made up of only 45 of the popular 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom units with covered patios, all of which enjoy many energy saving features. Set within a secured walled perimeter with access via a Mircell intercom system, it is already enjoying great popularity due to its proximity to schools, Randridge Mall, and the N1 via Beyers Naude Drive.

MANOR PARK, ENFIELD, PARKVIEW & SAXONWOLD
Manor Park, our third development in Randpark Ridge, will be launched to those who have registered on our mailing list towards the middle of June, together with Enfield, a smaller development of sectional title units in Olivedale.

Our luxury developments in Parkview and Saxonwold were handed over during March and April and the transfers on both sites are expected soon. Both these developments were sold out off plan and the rental rates achieved by investors on both set a new benchmark for these types of developments.

ANGELS VIEW & VILLA NIRVANA
Our cluster homes in the Angels View development in Strubens Valley have now been SOLD OUT! We are currently negotiating with the land owners for an additional 2 erven in this estate and if successful will construct two new homes on these sites. From the activity we have witnessed in sales at Angels View there is obviously a demand for free standing cluster homes. A similar interest is also being shown at the Villa Nirvana development where 12 sales were recorded in April, making it hugely popular due to its excellent pricing structures. Villa Nirvana Estate phases 4 and 5 will be coming on stream shortly.

SHARON PARK LIFESTYLE ESTATE
At Sharon Park Lifestyle Estate, between Springs and Nigel, we are nearing the construction of our 100th house. Brisk sales were recorded here during March and April with the more expensive larger homes proving to be the most popular. There is a clear demand for the larger 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms homes with a single garage at this point in time.

The commercial and industrial market is as buoyant as ever, and Renico Construction is leading the way in concluding sales and negotiating leases.
LANSERIA CORPORATE ESTATE
At Lanseria Corporate Estate we have now moved onto site and have commenced with the construction of 2 new buildings. On Erf 659 we are erecting a building for Gulfstream Energy, and on Erf 663, one for Manmade Studies.
MOSTYN PARK
At Mostyn Park, Barbeque Rib Manufacturers (BRM) has taken occupation of their additional production facility. This high tech food processing and large freezer facility will serve BRM well during their expansion into Africa and the rest of the world.
Erf 24 Mostyn Park, constructed as a speculative building, has also been completed.
KLIPRIVER BUSINESS PARK
At Kliprivier Business Park, Erf 30 for PNR Transport is nearing completion, and our client is set to take beneficial occupation of the premises at the end of May 2014. Erf 39 is also being developed on a speculative basis and this 2100m2 warehouse building, which is available on either a rental or sale basis, will be ready for occupation 1 August 2014.
Each year, Renico Construction chooses a Social Project which it undertakes together with its loyal suppliers and sub-contractors. This year we have chosen to develop the Gateway Village Home for the Elderly. The Gateway Village is entrenched in the West Rand Community, and has facilities for pre-primary, primary, high school and after school care in place. The need to house elderly intellectually challenged individuals has long been troubling the Gateway Society.

After we developed the "Renico Hall" at the Gateway Primary School we started negotiations with the steering committee of the Gateway Society with a view to assisting with their Home for the Elderly. This facility was originally intended to be developed in phases, but we have stepped in to develop the entire building in one go, so bringing urgent relief to their elderly people in need of special care. Renico Construction, along with all our loyal suppliers, sub-contractors, friends, and business associates are proud to be involved in this project.

Special thanks go to Instant Readymix, Courtney Roofing, Robecor, DRC Steel, Coverland, Glohill Service Enterprises, Corobrick, BUCO, Castel/UDM Cement, and many, many more...!
